As a Medior UI Designer at wearereasonablepeople, you collaborate closely with other UI Designers, UX Designers, Interaction Designers, UX Researchers, Software Engineers and Data Scientists to achieve the best possible result. Together with your team, you are responsible for creating outstanding user experiences that impact the core of our clients' businesses.

You love to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment. We strongly believe in a broad background and understanding in design, which means you are familiar with UI design, Interaction design, User and UX research, prototyping and testing. On a more holistic level, you are eager to push the boundaries of digital innovation by design every day and you express this to both your team members and the clients. Experience

• 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Proven work experience designing complex digital products and services.
  
• Experience of delivering projects within budget and deadlines.
  
• You are experienced in working with Agile, Scrum, Lean and iterative design processes in general.
  
• You have a compelling portfolio of work that showcases your talent.
  

Skills

• You play a key role in the development and delivery of user interfaces with excellent usability and user experience.
• You have the ability to use imagery, color, shapes, typography and form to enhance usability and improve user experience.
  
• You know your way around established and evolving UX and UI design standards and patterns, techniques and components for graphical, touch, gesture and hardware interfaces.
  
• You are able to set up consistent visual structures and to translate branding guidelines into UI theming on complex systems with different types of digital touchpoints.
  
• You know how to apply usability evaluation methods fitting to a project.
  
• You are able to decide upon the most effective approach for mockups and prototypes that demonstrate and test design solutions and then later to create these mockups and prototypes themselves in the appropriate fidelity.
  
• You are able to set up, manage and maintain a library of design components and design systems with adherence to product branding requirements and in full cooperation with business, branding and technology stakeholders.
  
• You are able to define UI guidelines and set up self explanatory documentation structures.
  
• You ensure complex information is delivered and displayed in the most compelling way.
  
• You are able to present and defend your work towards our team and clients.
  
• You are an excellent communicator and can collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  
• You know your way around Sketch, Figma, Miro, Adobe CC and InVision.
  
• You are fluent in English.
  

Responsibilities

• Apply proven design processes and steps to optimally integrate within the clients processes and rhythm.
• Contribute towards the implementation of user centered design and the growth towards a higher UX Maturity in the organisations of our clients and partners.
  
• Briefing and guiding interns and junior designers with similar competencies, providing training and support as and where necessary.
  
• Taking a proactive role in the QA process, its implementation across the various stages of projects and its continuous improvement.
  
• Deliver estimations and assist in the planning of complex projects.
