As a Senior UX Researcher at wearereasonablepeople, you collaborate closely with other UX Researchers, UX Designers, Interaction Designers, UI Designers, Software Engineers and Data Scientists to achieve the best possible result. Together with your team, you are responsible for creating outstanding user experiences that impact the core of our clients' businesses.

You love to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment. User and UX research are your strong suit. However, we also strongly believe in a broad background and understanding in design, which means you are familiar with the basics of UI design, Interaction design, Service design and prototyping. On a more holistic level, you are eager to push the boundaries of digital innovation by design and research every day and you express this to both your team members and the clients. Experience

• 5+ years relevant work experience, preferably with a background in design.
• Proven work experience in supporting the development of complex digital products and services in a variety of industries through UX research.
• Experience of delivering projects within budget and deadlines.
  
• You are experienced in working and leading Agile, Scrum, Lean and iterative design processes in general.
• You have a compelling portfolio or a selection of work that showcases your talent.

Skills

• You have the ability to identify pains and gains, formulate assumptions and hypotheses and to formulate clear problem statements and research goals.
• You have the ability to analyze and triangulate qualitative and quantitative data.
  
• You have the ability to oversee which type of research or evaluation is required, what method is most appropriate to use and practical skills to actually carry it out. You are able to do so independently in fast paced design processes with minimal supervision, but also in bigger trajectories.
  
• You have the ability to team up with developers and set up joint UX & Tech research activities that lead to the construction of Information Architecture, Domain models and Product backlogs.
  
• You have the ability to design a workshop, run it and successfully work with small and large groups of people to achieve a goal.
  
• You have affinity with Service design and are able to create customer journeys and service blueprints.
  
• You ensure that your research results and insights are communicated and documented in the most relevant fashion for each specific project.
  
• You are an excellent communicator and can collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  
• You know your way around Figma, Miro, Hotjar, UserTesting and other research tools.
  
• You are fluent in English.
  

Responsibilities

• Lead UX research, user research and usability evaluation activities in order to generate strategic and tactical insights along with actionable recommendations that drive product design improvements and innovation that in turn will improve the UX.
• Lead the product design and development in a hands-on manner through both small scale and large scale user experience research upon request. You lead in the analysis and interpretation of cognitive, behavioral, and physiological consumer data.
  
• Briefing and guiding junior and medior UX researchers with similar competencies, providing training and support as and where necessary.
  
• Taking a leading role in continuously improving QA mechanism, feedbacking and reviewing research process and deliverables within the team.
  
• Tailoring research processes and steps to optimally integrate within the clients processes and rhythm.
  
• Taking a central role in planning complex projects.
  
• Working with and consulting business stakeholders, actively managing relationships and challenging the status quo to drive innovation.
  
• Being part of sales processes and helping write quotes.
  
• Guiding organisations towards the implementation of user centered design and build towards a higher UX Maturity.
  
• Being able to execute projects without PM support.
  
• Taking a leading role in setting up documentation structures.
